In a traditional sense Ben is a Camera Operator and Director. But with a diverse background including 3D, slow-motion, underwater and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle filming, he stands out as a technical evangelist, a bit of a geek and an extreme sports junkie. In a previous life Ben worked in Project Management so understands clearly how to plan and deliver. His wide ranging experience compliments a passion for solving challenging shoots.
In 2010 Ben founded Outfilming – Out Filming represents a collective of freelance film makers and technologists who have a passion for film. Out Filming has a core of five individuals with a unique set of talents covering everything from creative form and narrative journey to binary and aeronautical engineering. In addition Out Filming has a pool of highly talented friends that join us on projects when required.

Part of Ben’s skill set is aerial filming and MōVI work, Outfilming were one of the first companies in the UK to get CAA certified for multi-rotors and were pre-order customers for the MōVI M10. They have a fleet of drones, from the Inspire one all the way up to the CS8 equipped with the MōVI M15 (designed to carry the Epic). Their bread and butter is mainly corporate, but they do a fair amount of broadcast and high end commercial / feature film. A lot of DJI and Freefly kit is used in their work.
